Ka moe a Rangitihi i a Manawakotokoto ka puta ko tā rāua mātāmua, ko Rākeiao. He rangatira, he toa, waihoki, i hau tana rongo i te korenga ōna i hinga i te pakanga.
Ka pakeke haere a Rākeiao, ka whai toa tauā hei ārahi māna.
Me he kaupapa nui e whakahaerehia ana i te marae, ka tae hoki te kapowai.
Heoi anō, kia kitea te kapowai e rere tāhuna noa ana, he tohu tērā kia pātai atu mō te take o tā rātau taenga atu.
Koia nei te hononga o ngā uri whakaheke a Rākeiao me ana kapowai prirpono.
